Before I AM | ARCHIVE, there was PositiveNrGems. For years, I built a practice around handmade metalwork that found its way into music videos, television, editorial, and the wardrobes of people drawn to objects with a story. My work has appeared on HBO’s Hacks, in music videos including Kalan.FrFr’s “Never Lose You,” and in publications including the Los Angeles Times. I AM | ARCHIVE is the continuation of that practice—an evolving collection of one-of-a-kind metal objects made by hand in Los Angeles.
I AM is a declaration.
A declaration of who I am through every chapter of my life and practice.
Each piece can mark a continuing chapter or the beginning of a new one.
I AM | ARCHIVE is a living record of those chapters.
It documents where I have been, where I am, and where I am going.
